BEING A WBA FAMILY MEANS EMBRACING
A CULTURE OF CONTRIBUTION.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

DID YOU KNOW?

100% of the costs to operate the Wilson Boys Aquatics program comes from generous donations from the families of student athletes, Wilson alumni, and a select amount of outside contributors.

With school funding being constantly compromised due to state and federal budget cuts year after year, many schools find themselves at a crossroads on where to cut costs, often resulting in the loss of extracurricular activities like sports.

But this is Wilson Boys Aquatics—a program going back nearly 100 years with a long legacy of excellence, and despite the odds, has lived through every downturn in the economy to not only to survive but to thrive.

And that’s due to the generous nature of people like you.

Ways You Can Help

Volunteer

The other half of the contribution equation is volunteerism. It’s not a this-or-that scenario, but a this-AND-that requirement. While donations help keep the lights on, it takes a volunteer to flip the switch.

In order to operate, we need many volunteers to organize rides to game for athletes, set-up before games and meets, staff the snack bar, maintain the website and social media accounts, and sit on the WBA board to discuss the best way to support the athletes, coaches, and their families.

Throughout the year, the WBA hosts different fundraisers and contribution events to support both the water polo and swim teams.

Check out our Fundraising page to find ways to give ‘til it makes your heart sing.

Or you can always just buy some merch.

In the past, the WBA would offer up opportunities to purchase team gear and Wilson merchandise to proudly display the red and gold colors, but also to help make donating simpler for some.

Those exclusive events will still come through, but soon this site will offer a full catalog of Wilson HS and WBA merchandise where you can purchase any time of the year.

Stay tuned for that update very soon.
