Annual Dad’s steak Night & Fundraiser
It’s that time again — prepare for the meat sweats!
Every year, for the past several years, the WBA dad’s get together to celebrate our ability to sit around and talk sports while the wives manage most of the team events and functionality. Our contribution is to feed each other, talk sports, drink too much, eat more than our fill, and write checks when needed.
And NOW is when we need it
On August 20th, at 6:30 pm, all dads are invited to gather at the D’Alvia home (Thanks Mary & Bill) for food, drink, good conversation, and combat sports. Ok, maybe just talking about why the Dodgers are/aren’t going to win again this year, mixed with some trivia and surprise giveaways.
This is one of our most popular fundraising events every year. It’s always a great time and you’ll never regret the money you shared for a chance to eat 16 ounces of tri-tip while drinking a tasty beverage and wondering where you put your raffle tickets.
The Wilson Boys Aquatics program is the finest in the city, but aside from the stellar athleticism of the boys, and the top-tier coaching; the excellence is in large part due to the contributions of our members.
BONUS! Anyone who contributes at the suggested donation level gets a free, commemorative t-shirt*. These aren’t some cheesy tee that you’ll wear once and put deep in a drawer, never to be seen again. These shirts will go down in history, and everyone that has one will be part of a very exclusive club. Only a true WBA brother will know.
